SOCIAL MEDIA WEEK

Have you been to any great sessions this week at #swmld?  Do you plan to go?  I’d love to hear all about it! If you are unable to attend any of the FREE events this week, you can catch many live on the SMW webcam!  Their blog is updated daily with goings on from the Official Google Campus Hub, The Facebook Hub and various other venues  across town such as Adam Street and The Betsy Trotwood. I have been making tonnes of notes and will be posting up my favourite tips from the week long events.

The list of speakers is phenomenal and if you are anything like me, a kid in a candy shop, the excitement has just about killed me and it’s only Thursday! Huge companies like @british_airways and the the social media manager of Sainsburys (@simonlp) will be in the mix with founders of the likes of Our Social Times (@lbrynleyjones), Whisk (@nickholzherr – The Apprentice) Useful Social Media (@gnjohnson) and editors from @londonist – Ronke Phillips (@ronkephillips – ITV News) even Peter Reed MBE (@peterreedrowing) about how the Olympics faired in social media this year. I could go on and on, there are over 500 worthy warblers for you to listen to, fire questions at and most of all, learn from.  BOOM!
