Imposter Syndrome Has Nothing To Do With Your Confidence


Why is Imposter Syndrome usually framed as a confidence problem?



It's a simple assumption, right? If you feel like a fraud or you are blagging your way through something, you simply can’t believe in yourself enough. We’re told it’s a confidence thing, but I don't think it is.


So what's the cure? If you do a deep dive on the net, answers are everywhere. More affirmations, more mantras, more meditation, more telling yourself in the mirror, ‘You’ve got this!’


This advice deserves questioning.


Why should we have to find any evidence to justify why we deserve to be where we are?
