6 Customer Service Rules to Follow Every Time

It disturbs me that some companies are putting folk ‘in charge’ of Twitter and Facebook without a fully written strategy or guidelines. It also disturbs me that customer facing social accounts are not being treated as such. I would like to reiterate that, if you are a B2C business with a service on offer or a product to sell your social media accounts will become more and more important as far as customer service. Give each conversation the time it deserves imagine that perso

    Control: Good vs Bad

Good control is self care and aids emotional growth. It oozes from a ballerina or a pilot when landing a plane. It’s knowing when to cut your losses, learning when to keep quiet, not falling into the temptation trap, turning down the oven to avoid burning the chicken or Spanx. Bad control is not knowing when or how but saying you do anyway. It’s an anger feeder and an ego eater. It promotes loneliness and is born mostly from narcissism, insecurity and fear of losing the plot.

5 tips that guarantee connection success.

You hear me talk of connection time and time again. It’s what makes the world go round. Without it nobody would meet each other, nothing would happen, the universe would not move forward! You may remember my Connection Cycle also? In business its crucial to connect. I connect every day and the ‘strategy’ is an action plan to achieve a particular goal. Without a strategy, a surgeon could kill someone. Without a strategy, Crystal Palace wouldn’t have managed another year in the

    What Are You Selling?…

…And who are you selling to? That should be the question on every marketers mind, at all times. It actually doesn’t matter if you are selling houses or makeup, a plumber or business consultancy, what matters is how you are selling it and to whom. How? Do you live, breath and dream what you are selling? If not, it probably won’t sell (as well). Good marketing comes from ‘being’ the consumer. Being able to write a story that you relate to and believing the story you are telling
    Corporate Blindness…

    Corporate Blindness…

Corporate blindness is rife. If you are within the corporate jungle you have to play ball like them otherwise you sink. And although that ‘competitive streak’ is important, it’s the way in which you play that’s crucial. It will always irritate me that someone ‘just raised the game’ (in that particular way) I’m hooked. But it will also anger me that every chess move its placed with a sneer, smirk, evil baddie chuckle. The enjoyment achieved by folk playing this way is corrupti

    What Are You Waiting For?

Don’t wait to be explained to, shown or taught. Learn yourself and make mistakes. I’ve spent my life doing exactly that, and apart from two memorable teachers, have myself to thank and the mistakes I have made, for learning most things which is hugely liberating. Believe me. Guess what could be the right thing. Do it with grace and empathy. Understand what is missing. Don’t wait for someone else to tell you what to do! Do it now. #andreabritton #onlinepruk #thoughts
