Margate Soul Festival is Kent’s signature soul music event held in and around the picturesque harbour adjacent to the sands of Margate beach. It has become one of, if not the biggest Soul Festival the UK has to offer. Taking place annually on the first weekend of August, the event features over 50 DJ’s playing more than 40 hours of music from Friday 2pm through to Monday 4am. It offers a unique combination of large scale outdoor live shows, family friendly street performances, DJ led carnival street parties and the most eclectic mix of after 8pm club life, spread across multiple venues.
