MI-SOUL RADIO ANNOUNCES ADDITION OF THE BRITISH COLLECTIVE TO FINAL MARGATE SOUL FESTIVAL 2016 LINE-UP

Mi-Soul, London’s premier digital radio station and partner in the Margate Soul Festival, is pleased to announce the addition of The British Collective to the already stellar line-up for this year’s 10th Anniversary Margate Soul Festival, being held on 5-7th August 2016.

The British Collective (aka TBC) comment: ‘The UK is our home, Soul music is our passion and Mi-Soul are our friends. As ’The British Collective’, once we were asked to be part of this extravaganza, we didn’t hesitate. Mi-Soul is at the forefront of everything good that is happening with the resurgence of ‘authentic soul music’. We are honoured to make our contribution, be there, be a part of it – a soul renaissance is in full flow.’

The British Collective (aka TBC) – the UK soul super-group comprising Don-e, Junior, Omar and Noel McKoy – is set to join music legends Snowboy, Jean Carn, Shirley Jones (The Jones Girls), Kathy Sledge, Soul II Soul with Jazzie B & Caron Wheeler and Ce Ce Peniston for the three day soul extravaganza.

Margate Soul Festival is Kent’s signature soul music festival held in and around the picturesque Margate Harbour, with a large outdoor arena overlooking the sea at the rear of the iconic Turner Contemporary Gallery. Now celebrating it’s 10th anniversary, this year’s festival will offer a unique combination of ticketed large-scale outdoor live shows, free family friendly street performances, DJ-led carnival street parties and the most eclectic mix of club nightlife.
