No Scrunchie approached as a startup website devoted to providing a comprehensive database of Afro hair salons in the UK. I worked closely with the wonderful Leilah to develop her strategy which included creating a core online community, monthly events and The Good Salon Afro Hair Awards (GASA). A unique competition, now in its seventh year, celebrates the talent of hairdressers and salons specialising in afro hair.
